Waiting for You

We've been friends
For not so long
Too many good moments
Taken out as irrelevant
But I still remember
That's when I started to wait
I've been waiting for you
But you never came.

Time goes quickly
Seasons come and go
Just like people
But you never gone away
So many memories
Tell me we're happy
Without knowing it
But I needed something else
So I kept waiting
I was still waiting for you
And you never came.

I felt lonely
Even having so many people around me
Because that wasn't enough
I missed what I couldn't have
Don't know why
But I couldn't
It just didn't felt right
Not for me
For so long I kept waiting
I kept waiting for you
But you didn't come.

I thought of giving up
Thinking I'd get throught
But I stood up where I was
So close to me
But so far at the same time
That's how I felt about you
And anyway since then I've been coming closer
I've been waiting for you
But you still didn't came.

I told myself that
Rejection wouldn't hurt me
And I was wrong
A year had gone away
I was still waiting
I said I wouldn't cry
If you never said 'I Love You'
If there was never a 'we'
But I didn't needed it.

Because I stopped waiting.
I smiled and closed my eyes
And when I opened them again
You were there.

You had finally come.
And I never, ever had to wait again.

Listening to Big Girls Don't Cry - Fergie

Okay, okay, this sentimental-ish crap is all about Annie and Ryan's story. :B Which the lazy fat-ass here have finished writing about AGES ago but is too lazy to write down and translate it and dump it all over you here on dA.

And I just realized I know the whole lyrics for 'Fergalicious'. o__o *faints---shock*

Anyway, I'm addicted to Big Girls Don't Cry. *the one who has addiction to any song with cute//emotive//sad lyrics* Don't you care about that, I'm a weirdo about that.

But I'm not alone. Terri says she's a weirdo too, so... Yah. :'D

Annie/Ryan/This stupid sentimental crap appartenant à moi. :B

Nice work! Some of the ideas are wonderful, and I love the repetition. Some small mistakes (seeing as you translated this, it's not surprising there are a couple of errors, I'm amazed how well you translated it!): "But you never gone away" should be either "But you've never gone away" or "But you never went away"; "But you didn't came" should be "But you didn't come" and "You had finally came" should be "You had finally come".

The ending is so lovely and I adore "So many memories/ Tell me we're happy/ Without knowing it" and the whole of the 5th stanza in particular. Really great job!

I didn't translate it, I wrote it directly on english. But it's normal that people imagine it, 'cause english really isn't my mother language. .-.
